Arrow April 8th/2011 The CAP is back. Unfortunately I long ago deleted the haks from Mediafire and the CC is currently unavailable. But over the course of this weekend I'll re-upload them. I have been out of NWN for over a year now and I'm totally out of the loop and frankly I'm gonna stay that way.
If you already have the haks and the tlk please feel free to log on, 9fires/Community Adventure Project.
The haks will be available for new players soon-ish.
That is all.
Cheers, 9fires

Arrow Old cap mod is online, if anybody needs some distraction this weekend.
I hate to report it, but it has not been a terribly productive week for me. I've been seriously distracted, but hopefully this weekend things will be quieter and I can press onward.

Chimerical World

Post  9fires on Mon Jan 25, 2010 4:29 am

Arrow As alluded to in my discussions with Beansidhe, I've split the forums - to what end? Firstly, lemme be clear - I'm not the world's most patient bloke. In lieu of a lot of hand sitting, I am and have been- always- continuing with my solo project - which is a relaunch of my PW and a vault release of the ruleset used there-in.
Lord of Worms is an artist and like all artists is rather... eccentric. Our communications have been very minimal, I don't know exactly what he expected of me and as a purdy dedicated fella, I'm not gonna sit and wait for inclusion. I do anticipate that at one point, we will actually accomplish something collaboratively, now, however appears is just not that time. SO I split the forums, one for my world, one for his. Since Obsidian and Ajax are attached to both projects, I have maintained the DM's forums outside of each. If at anytime in the future, that either of these fine people, desire to leave one for the other, I will make the DM forums world specific.

In so far as the CAP is concerned, its coming along beautifully, and while I will not set y'all up for disappointment by declaring a date for the relaunch, I am stating here and now, that it will happen and soon.

I am proceeding with my original plan of a reduction of the custom content used and I'm 'updating' to CEP 2.3. As I can not simply use CEP and CEP alone, I must also include a few additional odds and sods I can't do with out - primarily PC parts and a couple of tilesets. In any regard, the download requirements will be greatly reduced for the more 'casual' community member (less than 100 mb).

I am (or already have) changing some 'fundemental' aspects of the game and making the CAP a truly unique player environment, its not (and never was) the Forgotten Realms and its not even really D&D anymore. My vision is clear, concise and taking the input of you, my dear community members *nods at Adlash, Obsidian, sapr0phyt3 and Beansidhe* I am developing something here that will engross, engage and challenge you.

Ad interim, work continues.

Long live it.
