Help with the haks
Hey there, I'm new to Arbor Falls, and I just created a bard character to run around with. The problem that I am having is that after downloading all the required haks from the vault, I still can't log in. It still says that I am missing a bunch of haks. Is it possible that the current haks on the vault aren't up to date?
Specific haks mentioned by the system are civ_ls_001.hak, vd.hak, and wrm_pw_corej.hak

Re: Help with the haks
Hello and welcome to Arbor Falls wyrdwolf.
I'll try to help with your problem as best I can...
Some of these questions might be a little elementary, but
they will help establish where we are, so please bear with me:
1)Did you download all the haks listed on the nwvault site?
2)Did you unzip them all before placing them in your hak folder?
If the answer to these questions is yes, then check in your
hak directory... The civ_ls_ hak and versatile dungeon (vd) haks
should be present, they are from the same zip file (wrm_PW_COREX2.7z)
... if they are not, are any of the other files from that zip file in
your hak directory? They would include among others:
wrm_FantasyInt
wrm_ScorchE
wrm_Travel
wrm_undersea
If none of those files are present try downloading and unzipping that
wrm_PW_COREX2.7z file again.
The Hak J file is its own download, the file wrm_PW_COREj.7z.
There are a lot of files to download, so maybe it just slipped
through the cracks?
Post back and I'll try to keep an eye out for it...
P.S. whatever frustration you might have right at the moment, will
be replaced by the wonderment and awe of the visual landscape
put together by Lord of Worms when you get things rolling...

Re: Help with the haks
Okay, after some fumbling about, I figured out where they all were. After unpacking the haks, several of them unpacked into directories, still compressed. I had to decompress them further from that state, into the hak directory. So all is well now, but I was at first quite discouraged.
