new music box
Woah. I bought one. used it. used it again after the next day.
today however i went to my house and right off the bat i noticed a bookshelf was GONE. i didnt move it, change it or anything.
then, i see it over by a support beam. but wait, that was where i placed my MUSIC BOX.
my music box deleted a bookshelf and changed itself into that bookshelf.
The bookshelf had five mundane books in it.
one of them was "the neverwinter wood" I dont care about losing the books, but feel free to remove the database entries for that bookshelf if you can get at each furniture container separately...
dont know whats up with my music box, its now a bookshelf. (maybe after reload it will be back, but i doubt it.)

Re: new music box
that is an odd one?? I am not sure even where to begin looking...lol
I will have a double check into the 'tag' and 'resref' of the musicbox before i update so if its a fix to be found it will be!
and by all means, I can reimburse you your lost mundane books when next we meet.

Re: new music box
no need for reimbursement.
it is odd really because i placed the music box the day i returned. i have been on after several server resets, and it was fine.
it was not even the nearest bookshelf...
next time we both are on, i can show you my house and where the items were. don't think that matters though.

Re: new music box
something is wrong with my house database. (again. lol this will be what, the fouth time? lost count.)
seems the music box, bookshelf trick was just the start.
went back in my house...
lost a weapon rack, desk, light source. (moving into my bedroom area i see them now in place of some plants i had near my bed.) the light globe is lost to the void.
i leave my house and re-enter. two bookshelves are now that missing desk (which is not near my bed now, (which should have been a plant <--the desk that is)) and a chest of drawers- which is now missing from its spot.
My large desk in the way back is gone altogether and replaced with a vase.
I have removed any items I wish to keep (bloodletter and Kaer'shebhaal's skull)
Everything else can be replaced easily with a little dwarf gold.
Maybe a referencing issue with my database (most likely not a resref tag issue) as items are being spawned where other items were placed.

Re: new music box
you are hereby forever banned from owning a house here anymore...lol!!
its probably the ref. to your house and the items being sorted backwards.Maybefrom the rekey the lock when you first started?..I will look at it tonight (database) and see where we are going wrong.
