burried treasure

Reporting here sir. Marash dug a hole and burried some treasure. She left the "map" and a shovel for a new character in the community chest.
New Character took the map and shovel, went to the spot and used the map. A hole was dug, but it was empty.
New character then dropped the map back into the community chest. Marash then took it and dug up her burried stuff and it was all there (minus 50,000 gold. 50k is the limit?)
Aw. I wanted to burry stuff for others to get if they had the proper map. Doesnt seem to work that way.
Its like the planar bags, character specific?

Hmmm...it really shouldn't be as its associated with the maps ID which is generated when you create the hole.
plus that was the whole point , to be able to give maps to others to go treasure huntin.

must be something I am overlooking perhaps. Added to my to-do list.
as a side note, I have (in upcoming new hak) a 2da to allow all races to be able to use shovel, currently only med to large characters can use this system.

ok. i would like to test that more. the map was passed between two characters owned by the same player. ill get another player to try to dig up a treasure.
