Furniture Items
I'm hoping for furniture we can purchase for our houses that will allow us to place stackable items inside... specifically scrolls.
I haven't bought all the different furniture items, so this may already be there, but I know everything I've bought so far doesn't allow for stackable items.
Thanks !!

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
I would like to see some new high-level, high challenge areas where epic level items can be acquired.

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
already working on specific containers for stackables, but they wont be 'universal'
meaning
I will have a scroll container
potion container
gem container
am I missing other stackables?
arrows?
as for epic level fights?
its coming your way! Level 2 and level 3 of the underdark
Hothmourne Mountains
Flamespire Mountains
they are not implemented yet, but thats the direction these areas are going (high level fights not for the faint hearted)

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
For me, arrows I don't care about arrows... they are "easy" to find or purchase. Scrolls (and gems and potions) would be nice to store so I can sell them between my different toons or store until I get high enough to scribe them or save for other players who may need a specific spell and haven't found one yet.
I can buy desks / shelves for books, wardrobes for my armor , chests / chests of drawers for my rings (and belts and bracers) and weapon racks for my swords and bows so I can't think of any other items I need to store.
High level areas will be awesome as well...If what I've seen of the Underdark is any taste of future, I can't wait for them. Excellent suggestion Andaryth !!

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
I'm a big fan of the archer characters, so how about a few trick arrows like
OnHit slow, stun, or slaying of different kinds (not the old Oliver Queen boxing
glove arrows). Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can add item
properties to arrows through the dwarven forges.
Another cool thing I've done in the past is make a quiver item that when used
produces arrows into your inventory. (ie you buy a quiver of +1 arrows, with
say 25 charges that on item activate puts a 99 stack of +1 arrows into your
inventory). It saves time buying arrows and on the inventory sheets, and has
the additional bonus of running you out of ammo if you don't remember to do
it every so often

Feel free to create any item/etc that you think is cool yourself, erf it up and send it my way and I will glady add-in and provide credit for its use.
not saying I wont do it myself, but if I dont build these underdark areas for SHJ3 I am afraid what might happen to me...
(i heard he is a heartless assassin hirer)

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
Also, we seem to have most/all of the CEP shield appearances, but very few of the weapon appearances. Could we add some of those in?

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
Did some looking into how you have the on activate set up (in reference to making
some quivers/quarrels/whatever bullets come in?) and wanted to find out a couple
quick things to make implementation on your end easier:
1) what prefix should I use for identification? Is brj_ okay?
2) the way that your on activate script is set up you use it execute
individual item scripts. For these quivers there are only two lines of
code per item. So would you prefer me to write an individual script
for each item, or just put the lines into the on activate script. I realize
this is kind of a mundane question, but I always figured if I didn't have to
have a new script (or in this case 9) to count against the 16k resource limit
I was better off... Like I said I just want to make implementation on your end
as seamless as possible
Thanks for your help

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
brj_ is perfect.
also I use both tag based item activation and also a 'on activate script' in case I ever needed to use it (which some older systems I use had it that way and I never merged them to Tag Based)
but if your trying to conserve scripts you can always go
give them all the same TAG
create one TAG based script (i.e same name as TAG of quiver)
create a new resref for each quiver (since you will have to anyways right?) example "brj_quiver1","brj_quiver2","brj_quiver3",etc
in this tag based script do a
object oItem = GetItemActivated();
string sRes = GetResRef(oItem);
if (sRes == "brj_quiver1")
{
//do quiver 1 stuff here
}
if (sRes == "brj_quiver2")
{
//do quiver 2 stuff here
}
if (sRes == "brj_quiver3")
{
//do quiver 3 stuff here
}
etc...
that way one script to handle as many diiferent quivers as you like +1,+2,flame,etc
and we would only need update this one script in future for further types.

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
Mr. Worm, I sent you an email this afternoon with some ammo-type items,
please feel free to use or dispose of as is warranted. I sent to the @bhs1
email address on the bottom of the AF webpage, let me know if you don't
get it for whatever reason.
The "Beauty" arrows were a request from Elros/shj3, so you know what
will happen if he doesn't get them...
Thanks

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
I did receive them and of course I will use them, just because I may not ever need to use them I am not the only player so I am always willing to accomodate players who want that something extra special for their PC.
but you did very well with the scripts, the documentation and the implementation..
what else could you do for this world I wonder?
send me a PM here if your interested in becoming a more active contributor to this project.
but excellent work really. they should be in Arbor Falls this weekend.
did you have any preferences for the sale of these items? where? who sells them? etc
or just scattered around in stores throughout Arbor Falls.

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
My druid, Vesh, has resisted the urge to buy a house in Fellhurst, city dwelling is not very druid-like. (need to start an alt). He also just picked up dragonshape and has saved a considerable amount of gold. I would love to have a lair for him out in the woods somewhere, not easily accessible to the wandering hordes of monsters and their would-be slayers.

Re: ~Wishlists for Arbor Falls~
Thats a good suggestion and I will offer several housing options for woodland/ranger/druid types with a check included to keep standard peeps from being able to purchase these houses.
I should have it in within the next 2 updates for sure.
