House Ownership Bug
So I owned a house in Fellhurst before the database switch on my character Thales. After the switch, it had reverted to being a house for sale, even though I still had the key. I didn't play a ton after that, so I figured I would just buy another one eventually. I tried that a few minutes ago, and got an error that I already own one. Someone has since bought the house I used to own. Is it possible to clear that flag from my character, or does something else have to be done?
Also, would it be possible to open up some buyable houses in Pinehaven?
Many thanks,
Tom

Re: House Ownership Bug
I fixed that bug awhile ago, but of course it *only* works if you still own the house, you would then simply use your key on the door to put it back on the market and clear your variable that you owned(own) a house.
but I never took into account a situation like yours, so I will write up a quick fix for any of the deed sellers to remove your owned house variable. Expect that update to happen tommorow evening (:
as for pinehaven? sure we can add housing there (we are going to anyways down the road when it (the town) has a real purpose. But until then is there a particular section that strikes your fancy?

I do like the house right next to the summoning trainer. If that isn't possible, any of the houses near the town portal will do. Will I need to buy another deed after you clear my ownership variable, or will the one I just bought work then?

Re: House Ownership Bug
no problem ,if thats the one you want, thats the one you can get, I will actually set a few of them up as well for maybe other toons you or others might want to purchase..
and no your deed will work just fine. BUT for linking needs for the door I need to place,
is it going to be
1) flagstone house deed
2) decrepit house deed
3) small house deed
or
4) castle deed

Re: House Ownership Bug
So I found a house in pinehaven that would accept a flagstone deed, but it still says I already own one.

Re: House Ownership Bug
you need to talk to a deedmaster (where you bought your deed) to 'reset' your house variable
