The Bag of Planar Holding

Today I was helping a new person to get some levels , after an hour she ran out of potions and I made a portal home to the arbor city I went into the Arcane Shop and use the Bag of Planar Holding and after a minute or so this new player came in and went into my Planar Holding and started taking items I walked away and the holding was still there so I was going to go back and as soon as I walked back the planar of holding disappeared , she took some items and I asked for them back. I got a few bk but I do not know how much she took.

I opened it and the items were there. as far as i can see she took Ioun Stone white and a spell
and she gave them bk

After a minute or so she said she had to leave, I kindly said good bye and see you soon.

I was concerned so.. I opened up my Bag of Planar Holding again and everything I had was
gone.

But I don't understand she was gone and I opened it and nothing was left.



Please help me to understand what happend, and why other people can access other peoples bags

Hmmmmm....

I can easily stop the players from hooking into your personal storage (never had to worry about that kind of thing before since all the players I have played with so far have been more than honest when it comes to this type of issue)

of course , I dont know why all your stuff went missing, what PC's name were you using that has the issue. I can look into the DB and see if your items did get wiped, or just in limbo..lol

I did have a bag eat everything once before, after it sort of hooked open. I just assumed it had rewritten a code somewhere, so the bag that held all the stuff was now inaccessible, and he was now generating a whole new storage area.
I doubt it was theft. It was probably just confused code. (After all, Rico + Hard fill up the community chest often enough for nobody to ever resort to theft.. Once anyone gets to epic levels here, money is a non-issue...)

Just one of those things. Didn't take long to recover from the loss (It happened before the cool new item-set trading card mentality of wanting them all!!


And, just because.. Rats Rule! *squeaks off into the distance.. at near-lightspeed*

LoWorms and I discussed this bag thing long ago when it was first offered. I would like to see this code added too, for safety sake while playing with unknowns.
I can easily loot SHJ's anytime I see it....

*ahem*

uh..mm... yeah, thats right we did speak about that and of course I remembered and needed no reminding that this bug has been around since waaaay back.

i even think I told Shady it would be fixed in the next patch just like I am saying to you now
