New World Map Problem

I was up in village at the Hothmournes (sp?) Yesterday with my daughter Lucky Lightfingers, and we decided to look at the view offered by the World Map. Oh Oh.
She said that her map rotated 180 degrees, but then worked normally. Mine homed in on a view SE of Fellhurst. I checked out the notes on Fellhurst, which worked fine but when I hit the exit button, my screen went black with just the LOW Arbor Falls logo on it. I tried everything of, but there was no way to exit this screen! I finally cont-alt-del out and ended NWN. I rebooted the computer and re-entered AF. Same screen. I tried this several times; sometimes the original Fellhurst screen came up, but the exit button produced the black screen, and sometimes it went straight to black screen.

I went back in today, but apparently server reset does not correct this. Note that save on exit was 'on' for this PC (Mary Smythe). I turned it off my other PCs.

Please help, I love this game!!

well there is two things you can do.

1) install this camera hak (which will allow you to actually view the whole map)

2) I will make a patch tonight that wont save this location on logout..it never should have, just me forgetting about small things like this.

Oh wow. What do you do? Have a siren that goes off whenever someone posts a problem? Thanks so much for such amazing service. I suspect I'm going to try the new video anyway, but i'll probably get myself inside a rock or something next and still need help.

Close, hehehe I have this uncontrollable urge to think about Arbor Falls and its development on an hourly basis..lol

thus I am pretty much on these forums several times daily.
and even if I didnt see a post, one of our regulars would sure enough grab ahold of me and let me know about any issues that arise *ahem* shj *ahem*

the camera hack IS cool though, I wouldnt recommend it if i didnt feel it added to gameplay..
basically it just alters the camera view so you can actually look in an almost 360 degrees, rather then limited views...especially useful for those smaller type players like halflings,dwarves and gnomes...with this you can finally look "up" towards your enemies.!
