Shadow Plane Problem

I died (eaten by rats... not nice) I respawned but when I left the temple I appeared on the Shadow Plane where I was immediately killed again, the dread beasties are standing over me, every time I respawn they kill me before I draw my first breath . Eventually I logged out. I tried again today but they are still there waiting for me, one of them was chewing on something that resembles my intestines . Help!

Hmmmm.... I dont usually like the idea of making it easy on a player to get out of something that imo should be very difficult to do...

but I myself had run into this as well ...lol.. and just couldnt for the life of me escape. I will lower the amount of beasties and I will allow your PC to be spawned randomly in different parts of the map each time, that should fix any issues with being farmed upon by baddies when respawned in the shadow plane.

I am making the changes now so it will be in the next update.

Changes have been made. When you die in the shadow plane you will respawn in an entirely different spot as far away from creature(s) as possible.

this should at least allow one to get their bearings.

Hi , new to the server but enjoying it :-)

Playing as a cleric - just lvl 2 for now , keep getting sent to the shadow plain. Already been there once if I remember rightly and my journal seems to indicate this. With the help of another powerful player managed to get the axe to the right place to get me out. However seems to have sent me back again. Should it be doing this ?

Also the shadow plain seems really tough for low level chars , literally , respawn , die , respawn , die etc etc should this be the case ?

You only go there under certain circumstances. So take note of what you are doing before you find yourself there.

I hear the Inn has soft beds and warm ale.

It seems like when any of my chars rest in the graveyard they end up on the Shadow Plane. I have managed to get back to the other dimension by using a portal book.

As Ummma mentioned, it's a good idea to think about where you are resting before you lay your head down, especially in Arbor Falls. I would take a look at / listen to the information the town crier has to tell as well.
