I have downloaded much of your work lord_of_worms for building purposes but wanted to come enjoy what you personally have done. Do you have a link from the forum to the required haks or must I search the vault for each of them?

I do wish to ask 1 question. What program are you using to design your maps for Arbor Falls?

I used Jasc Paint Shop pro v7. for the overworld maps and all the texture work for all the Arbor Falls tilesets/Creatures/Icons,etc I created.

Ah Paint Shop Pro, nice world map you have from it. I've been trying to find the right program to use for a mod I'm creepingly building. As far as creating tilesets and such...far above my head =)

Thanks Manny, yes I figured I would venture to Arbor Falls to experience Lord of Worms grand creations in the manner he uses them. Its one thing to use someone's material to build with and another to enjoy it as they had actually crafted it in the first place. I'm hoping to get my poor lil rogue out of the 'hand me my arse' stage soon, heheh.

Lord of WoRms, would it be possible to get the files needed for that nice helm a player can get at creation? I believe it is called Death Helm.

I saw that post on the vault but in your description you say its only those 3 helms. I am talking about one that has no attributes but looks kewl. Yes, I was meaning for my own use and can log onto Arbor Falls with a char to show you which helm I mean, if you like.

There's a merchant in fellhurst who can customize your helm appearance for you. The helm merchant is the only one you won't find in AF itself... but it's just a quick jump over to fellhurst to do that anyway.

Well I would but I just got a nice helm and changed its look to the 'Mask of Death' so I shall RUN FROM those beasties =) Thank you for the tip.

All I have to say is WOW! Even my ship ride to Fellhurst was almost eventful...the passing ship came very close to the one I was on, heheh. Of course, I'm like a 5yrs old in a candyshop...a passing ship...wow just wow...

i actually have to adjust the height on that ship, its half-sunk! lol

i am glad you like it so far, lots to do in AF so just take your time, new stuff is added all the time.

I wonder if you could take the ghost ship from the shadowplane tileset and have it attack with ghost pirates and cannons?

Yep, I'm pretty much a big chicken when it comes to the love of a rust monster hehe.

there will be pirate attacks to be sure, but few things need some touch ups and am waiting on a fix within newest hak that will be released couple of weeks.

A question though, when I logged on this morning I started at Arbor Falls Outskirts and my armor was off...yeah Arauka blushed just alil...is this the reset/reboot starting point?

Outskirts are the beginning area for first time (0 XP) players as well as the starting point for choosing to have your persistant location toggle OFF...otherwise you should start exactly where you logged out last...at least location wise, if you logged out in middle of a war, you might end up back in the middle of one.


aside from that, with the location toggle off and you are a:
if your a Vampire you will log in to the area 'Theatre of Vampires' a safe haven for them
if your a Werewolf you will log in to the area 'Howling Forests' , fellow Lycans will not attack you (will still show red/hostile but will refrain from attacking you..just dont piss em off)

Ah okay, so I must be toggled off I guess. I was just on with Arauka and she logged in at the temple naked...the congregation got an eyeful! But Arauka has lost most of her modesty anymore, hehe. Two times waking up somewhere she doesn't know how she got there and naked...yep, modesty gone =)

Lord of WoRmS, the postal system you use on Arbor Falls...is it your own custom? I downloaded a Developers Companion rar with 2 systems in it but not sure if either might be what you use or modified.

I was wondering what the differences are between your Wrm_pw_plc and Wrm_placev1 haks are? Is it best to use both and if so, in which order?

Wrm_pw_plc is the one I currently use

and I dont even remember the Wrm_placev1 . haks soooo, I would say those are outdated and not needed. (:

as for order, depends? is this for a Arbor Falls personal rebuild or a personal project that is only using parts of the AF haks?
