Persistant Crashing

Recently joined Arbor falls to play around with my friend. We've been doing good until!

The 'end room' of Crypt level 5, I crashed. I tried logging in again. I crashed immediately. And again! Same thing. So I rebooted my system. .. Still crashed! I asked my friend to log on my character and move her thinking it was something in the area causing me to crash. He crashed when he logged her in as well, however he could go there on his character and not crash. Hrm!

I'm not sure what happened to my character between starting the dungeon and finishing it but I think she needs some help if that's possible? We've been having a lot of fun on the pair, especially exploring now that we're a bit higher level, but unless she can be saved it seems it's early retirement! Hehe.

Actually brute stubbornness seems to have paid off.


I'm not sure what was wrong, but before checking here, I tried logging back in, and by some unexplainable wonderfulness .. it worked. (unless you did something, in which case, very explainable wonderfulness). I'm able to play again. Three cheers.


So if you haven't spent time on it as of yet, you should be alright not to be bothered! Until I break it again anyways?

I was just on and experienced 2 crashes in a row when I tried to enter Artano's Tower. I know LoW is working hard on Arbor Falls already. Just not sure anyone has experienced this before.

I had defeated the goblins and bugbears out side the tower. I opened the door yet each time I clicked the transition to enter the load screen came up and then NWN crashed.

Just ran through it myself to check. Don't seem to be any problems on
the server side. You might want to check and make sure that your
haks are intact, as that seems to usually be the problem with the kind
of crashes you're describing.

If you check those and everything is in order and you still have
problems, let me know and we'll go from there.

Found out I had the older i hak, updated that and now I can get into that building! Thanks borojb for the tip!!!
