Server Offline for a few hours. Looks to be a quiet evening, so I figgered I'd take this oppurtunity to give the rig a rest. I'll check back on here through out the evening. If'n anyone needs a fix I'll pop it back online for you.

I got a Very Special Announcement here... My old pal, Spartan has joined the team as Dungeon Master. He's a all around good guy, with whom I've played with over multiple servers. Its a great pleasure to welcome him to it!
A huge update is in the works... Some 30 new maps, a couple few new quests, bug fixes and new functionality garaunteed to make the CAP all the cooler! Woot!

Not quite the update I was hoping for... ... but there are some new things in the world. Fixed the gem polishing trade device, corrected a long standing spelling mistake, added a couple of trainers, one for Elkor; an other cuz I missed it... and I'm not gonna speak on the location of either. Fixed the spell tracking system, think I fixed the skinable corpse issue, Added more lines of dialogue to the commoners to give you information that you've each asked me about... This update will go live in a few minutes.

CRITICAL PATCH
cap1b.hak has been discovered to be missing some rather important things and these missing things are creating errors. A fixed version has replaced the prior version and it has grown by a whooping 6 kb (168 kb). I did not change the name of the updated hak - its a download and overwrite kinda thing... I'm rather... grumpified by this entire affair and I do apologize for this latest error.
This can all be traced back to the SRD purge
This hak will go live tomorrow morning... and will only affect players who dl'd the 1b hak prior to this date.... which is purdy much everybody who plays with any kind of frequency....

Stuff to look forward to - fixes for the Trades, some code changes - in particular Death/Respawning and Loot.
The bugs with the rune system are old and are the fault of the NWN engine and the original code provided to the NWCommunity by Scarface of NWVault fame. I have taken this system as far as I can, without a complete re-write. I do like it, but its flaws are glaringly obvious and frustratingly un-killable, so for now I have disabled the code, removed the drops from the loot table and removed them from every instance I could locate. I will come back around to this system in due course, but for now it is being put aside for the three core projects that are most important to the development of the CAP.
Which are as follows -
1. Cooking.
2. Improved AI functionality for summons, familiars and pets (ie pack animals, horses and pets).
3. Hands down one of the coolest bloody things I have ever toyed with... That I'm so totally not gonna tell you about...

Updates :: A few long standing errors, that y'all prolly didn't even notice, have been corrected. Tywin has a new conversation node to allow for a quick identification of items... A few other things have been optimized. Been working on a new intro for the CAP which includes a movie... Kinda digging it. The summons/pet AI is coming along swimmingly; cooking draws nearer... Tomorrow I intend to devote entirely to area development, completion of the 'dead end' quests and my movie.... Never attempted a cutscene before...

Server rebooted... I am currently working on a few things and I am withholding an update until I am completed - barring another 12 hr day at work, I'm shooting for Thursday, if not sooner. Any bugs - potions and runes in critter's inventory, etc - you, my dear friends, may find in the current build are undoubtedly being addressed. Ajax and Spartan both of your submissions will be included in the aforementioned forthcoming update.

Server back online after a well deserved nap. I'm home all day today and will be busily working on the mod, interspersed with naps of my own and possibly more than one interruption by my nubile neighbor . Been an insane week so far - don't expect today to be much different.

UPDATE:
1. Adjusted the treasure tables for a less liberal distribution of treasure, removed all references to the broken SRD and runic items.
2. Added a new command to familiars, animal companions and pets to allow you to send them on ahead to scout out an area.
3. Polished off many maps. Lots of new stores have been added to all of the villages, towns and cities. They're still not 100%, but far closer to it.
4. Submissions made by Ajax have been included in this update.
